Brief Introduction of Reportor:
Dr. Lidong Liu received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Biochemistry from Wuhan University, and Ph.D in Molecular Biology from Kyoto University in Japan. After three years post-doctoral training in Biomolecular Engineering Research Institute, Japan, she moved to University of Washington, USA, working on the signaling transduction regulating central nervous system neurons and neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Currently, Dr. Liu is engaged in the research of TGF-beta and AR signaling in regulating prostate cancer progression at Baylor College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Liu’s works have been published in Nature Biothecnology, Current Biology, JBC and PNAS etc.
